Becca's week three check in

Please tell me we haven't abandoned this. No matter how bad at it we are, if we are doing any morning pages or having any fun we wouldn't have otherwise had, we need this.

My week three check in. Did pages 5/7 days, nothing too fabulous. No artist date, but some walking and camping. But am pleased to report that on some days, my voice was divine. By that I don't mean good, I mean real, reflection of me, unguarded, not for an audience. Wrote some poetry. Did the exercises, tough to remember childhood things, could not describe a childhood room. I was all about the favorite childhood foods and did remember some odd little details. I liked hostess ding dongs, chocolate milk and tetherball. I liked creating dance routines with Lisa and our friend Susan Springer. Remember, the candy man and Beethoven's Fifth? Da da da, daaa... I think the affirmations are great, and if I'm having any transformations its just slow down and enjoy, most of the stuff I'm all anxious about (read: wedding, school) will be fine without my freaking out.

So week 4 - no reading. (Other than for work- must design a class) I'll try. Luckily, because Sibyl warned me, I read like three novels in the last week and a half, so I'm good there. And I'll have Peyton and Mason this week, so it's not like I'll have time. I'm also giving up Scramble for the week, the face book word game, it is a mind numbing and time sucking activity.

Becca begs for a do over

Okay, I was okay at week two, but blew off this week until yesterday. Lisa blew off week two, and is better this week. Sibyl was distracted this week. So I think we all flunked a week and should consider ourselves in week two this week. Begining week three on next Monday. I promise I'll be good. Also, that puts off the dreaded week four for a bit.

Can we have a do over?
